The definite destination for any business man traveling to LA. Very well connected to the city’s transportation, only a 10 minute walk to the Persian subway. Staff has a very professional attitude, always tending to my needs. I really enjoy a good workout, and business or not, a half an hour workout every morning is what I need to get in shape and in this domain the Omni was more than you could ask for. The gym was very well equipped, free headphones and some fruit munchies while you work out, and fresh towels as you exit – all stuck to mind. Rooms had a very pleasant colour, and I absolutely loved the bed, it could not get more puffier. I recommend it for leisure travelers who don’t mind walking around too much or for those who have a car, as some sights of Los Angeles are quite far away.

If you ever reach Tucson you should not pass the chance to visit this fine example of native wildlife. Established about 50 years ago, its goal is to protect and preserve the Eco-system while offering visitors a glimpse at all the indigenous animals and plants.

In terms of hotel service it was ok, but the real reason to stay at the Affinia Dumont is the location. Service is client oriented, with a very professional attitude. The rooms are quite big and decorated with taste, although they could use some improvement in the near future. Still, the windows and the view are one of the strong points for the hotel, especially for the rooms higher up which offer you a view of the Chrysler building and other additions to New York’s skyline. Didn’t get to eat at the hotel, but the restaurant downstairs provided for a fast breakfast whenever we were lazy enough to go and sample some more of the city’s culinary delights. So don’t expect top notch quality, but if you come to New York just to explore the city and not to be pampered, then this hotel should be up high on your list.

A sea-food sensation that took New York by storm, this restaurant offers some of the most exquisite plates in Manhattan, all as a result of quality recipes cooked in a classic, simple manner ever since 1972.
